Airbnb : How to manage duration in Your Airbnb Activity

The duration of an activity as displayed in Airbnb is calculated from the itinerary you create in your Airbnb activity. This is then used by Airbnb to calculate from the start time provided by Rezdy to work out the end time of the session. To ensure the correct end time is displayed in Airbnb, the time added to each of the agendas in your itinerary should be updated. 

Note: Changes to images, title and description of each Agenda can result in your activity being submitted for review and this may render the activity unbookable. Changes to just the duration of each agenda will not require a review.

How to check your duration

1. Log in to your Airbnb Host account.

2. Click Switch to Hosting in the top-right corner of the page.

3. Select the Listings tab at the top of the page.

4. Click the Experience (activity) you want to review.

5. In the Listing Editor on the left, scroll to Itinerary and click the section.

6. View the total duration under the Duration field.

7. View the duration of each agenda item next to each agenda title.

How to update the duration of any of your agendas

8. Select the agenda you want to update in the Itinerary section.

9. In the Duration field, select the new duration you want to apply to this agenda.

10. Click Save to confirm your changes.

11. Repeat these steps 7-10 if you need to adjust the duration for additional agenda items.
     

Tip: If your Activity requires travel time to/from one location to another, each agenda should incorporate this travel time ie Agenda 1: Title - Pick up, Description - You are picked up from your accommodation by your tour guide, Duration 15 min | Agenda 2: Title - Lookouts, Description - You are now on your way to the lower Blue Mountains where we will make a series stops at various lookouts, Duration - 2 hours | Agenda 3: Title - Lunch, Description - Enjoy a 2 course meal at XX overlooking the beautiful Megalong Valley, Duration - 1.5 Hours, | Agenda 4: Title - Leura Village, Description - Meander through the quaint shops of Leura Village , Duration - 1.5 Hours, Agenda 5: Title - Drop off, Description - We make our way back down the mountain and you will be dropped off at your accommodation where the guide will bid you farewell , Duration - 2 Hours. Total Duration 7hrs15

Important: To apply the updated end time from your agenda duration changes, you must purge existing sessions in Airbnb.
Currently, neither Rezdy nor Airbnb provides a purge feature.
