How To Create Pickups

Pickups let you create a list of pickup locations for your customers to choose from. The system automatically calculates the time for each pickup location from the session start time.
How to create a new pickup
- Click Inventory.
- Choose Pickups.
- Click New Pickup.
Within the new pickup window:
- Enter a name for the pickup. This name is for internal use only; your customers see the pickup locations you enter.
- Enter the Pickup Location.
- Enter the Pickup Address and select it from the 'powered by Google' drop-down menu. This address ensures that your automated messages include a Google Map.
- Add any Additional Instructions, for example, Meet at the lobby.
- Enter a Pickup Time in minutes before the actual start time of your tour.
- Click the Add Pickup Location button to add more pickup locations.
- Click the Save Pickup Locations button to save your progress.
Important: Pickup times are dynamically calculated from the start time of your product sessions in your calendar. For example, if your tour starts at 12:00 PM and the pickup time is 11:30 AM, enter 30 in the Pickup Time field.
Additional pickup options
- No charge for pick up. If you want to charge an additional price, uncheck this box and enter the price, e.g., 15.

Allow Customer Pickup Requests. This option gives your guests an 'Other Location' option, allowing them to enter their own pickup location.
- Recommended: Enter an additional message that displays when your guests enter their own location.
- Additional note for your pickup. This option shows at checkout and on the confirmation email.

Important: If you plan to connect with Viator or GetYourGuide, the pickup addresses entered in Rezdy must exactly match those in the respective OTA accounts. The match must be character-for-character
How pickups display to your customers
Your pickup locations display to your customers upon checkout. Since this field is mandatory, they must select a pickup location before proceeding with payment.
Frequently Asked Questions
If my customer books via Expedia or GetYourGuide (or other OTAs), are they charged the additional pickup price that I set up in Rezdy?
- No. If the OTA supports adding a price to a pickup, you need to set this up on their end.
