How To Modify the Booking Fields

The Booking Info tab contains fields and questions that you include on your Booking Form to obtain details of the customer, including:
- Contact Details
- Special Requirements
- Marketing Information, such as How did you hear about us?
Additionally, you can mark questions mandatory for:
- Agents in the Marketplace - Agent Bookings
- Internally for staff - Internal Orders
You can find the Booking Info tab within a product's setup page.
Ask once per Order
These are questions for the main contact or the person making the booking online and usually include billing & address details, contact details, and other marketing-related information.
- Online Bookings: Ticking this option shows the question online to customers booking directly on your booking form. Mandatory requires customers to answer the question.
- Agent Bookings: Ticking this option shows the question to Agents/Resellers booking in the Marketplace. Mandatory requires customers to answer the question.
Ask for each Participant
These are questions about each person in attendance, where you can gather information such as meal and dietary requirements.
- Online Bookings: Ticking this option shows the question online to customers booking directly on your booking form. Mandatory requires customers to answer the question.
- Agent Bookings: Ticking this option shows the question to Agents/Resellers booking in the Marketplace. Mandatory requires customers to answer the question.
Custom Fields
You can obtain even further information from both the customer making the booking and each person attending the Tour & Activity, including:
- Special Dietary requirements
- Specific Pick Up locations
- Current Accommodation and Hotel locations
1. Drag and drop into a preferred order.
2. Set the Display and Mandatory options accordingly.
Important: Removing a custom field removes it from all Products. If you want to hide a particular question from a Product, untick the boxes for that question.
Custom Field Types
There are several options for setting up your Custom Fields:
- Text - allows your customers to provide their own free text answers.
- List - allows your customers to choose an answer from the options you've provided, creating a dropdown.
Important: Make sure there are no line breaks when entering your List options.
- Checkbox - allows your customers to check a box as an answer to your question.
- Multi-line text - allows your customers to provide an extended answer.
- Inline text (read only) - displays bold text within the Rezdy check out page, e.g., Disclaimers. There is a 200 Character Limit.
- Multi-Line text (read only) - displays a scrollable window within the Rezdy checkout page, e.g., Disclaimers and Terms & Conditions.
- Hidden Field (read-only): this value is visible in reports, but does not appear to customers or staff creating orders.
