GetYourGuide: How to manage product Extras in your GetYourGuide product

Operators can sync extras (known as Add-ons in GetYourGuide) from their Rezdy account directly into their GetYourGuide products, making those extras available and bookable for travelers.

You can choose whether to import these Extras during product setup or sync them with an existing product in the GetYourGuide extranet. Once you import the extras into the GetYourGuide product, travelers will be able to select and purchase them at checkout, helping operators offer a richer, more flexible experience and increase revenue per booking.

Before you get started: What do you need to know?

Before enabling Add-ons for your GetYourGuide product, be aware of the following:

• You can sync extras created in Rezdy into GetYourGuide and choose whether to import them during the GetYourGuide product creation flow.

• Rezdy only sends supported extras to GetYourGuide. These extras must be:

  • Per person or per order

  • Optional (not mandatory for customers)

  • Commissionable

• Rezdy provides the following details for each extra to GetYourGuide:

  • Price category set to OTHER

  • Extra name

  • Retail price (tax inclusive)

• Extras that are per quantity, mandatory, or non-commissionable are not supported and will not sync to GetYourGuide.

• The extras must exist in your Rezdy account, and you must link them to a product accessible to GetYourGuide before the sync. It cannot be created first in the GetYourGuide supplier portal.

• Rezdy supports bookings with extras from GetYourGuide. If an extra has limited availability and there isn’t enough availability for all guests, GetYourGuide will confirm the booking without the extra.

How to sync extras to your GetYourGuide product

1. Log in to your GetYourGuide supplier portal.

2. Select the product you wish to update, then select Edit and navigate to Availability & Pricing.

3. Step through the Pricing Categories, Capacity, and Price sections.

4. In the Add-ons section, select Yes to enable Add-ons for your product.

5. GetYourGuide will then fetch your Extras from Rezdy and import the available add-ons linked to this product.

6. Review the imported Add-ons, then click Save, and continue to confirm and validate your setup.
    

Tip: Only the extras with supported configurations will be visible in GetYourGuide.

How to remove price options

• Remove the extra from the product in your Rezdy account.

• Repeat steps 1–3 from the Enable Add-ons setup to return to the Add-ons section in GetYourGuide.

• In the Add-ons section, click Update add-ons to refresh the list.

• Confirm that the removed extra no longer appears in the list.

• Review the remaining Add-ons and click Save and continue to validate your setup.
