It'd be nice to see this or perhaps a catalog or dropdown menu of extras that can be chosen when creating/editing products.

We have 30 or so different products and setting up the extras individually is tedious, maintaining them would be the same.  Pictures would be fabulous too.

    Hi everyone,

    Thank you for your feedback.

We're happy to announce that you can now add images to Extras and customize the pricing.

    Here's how: https://support.rezdy.com/entries/48610440-New-Release-16-June-Add-an-Image-and-Customized-Pricing-for-Extras

Thanks again and we'll keep you updated with regards to the feature of maintaining the Extras per Product.

This update / improvement was good however it didn't address the fact that you need to add the same extras in to each new product. We have some pretty standard extras (t-shirts etc) and then ones that are different to every product. If there was a way to select/drop in previously used extras or pull them from a repository of pre-created 'standard extras' that would save a lot of time.

    Rachel ,

Yes, we should be able to select the same extras used in one product for another.  So far, it seems that I have to recreate the same extras for every product I want to use them for.  Even being able to clone an extra would be better.  I would prefer to create the extras ONE time and then be able to select them for use over and over again.

    I agree.

I would also love to see a size drop down box for clothing items. At the moment I am creating an extra for every t-shirt size.

I'd also like a way to ask customers for their address for where their extra (in my case, gift cards) should be posted to, it's not always the same address as the person booking.  I'm sure others have other additional questions that come up if people select extras (like space to type t-shirt size?).

I'm also looking at getting an extra from a third party and it would be amazing if there was a way to link it to a drop ship email with customer contact emails.  I imagine that request might be a little more complex.

    Thanks.

I agree with Rachel: "I would prefer to create the extras ONE time and then be able to select them for use over and over again." since our extras do generally repeat for most products we offer.

Another suggestion would be to be able to manage the extras in a similar way to the resources. For example, I only have a fixed amount of specialty pedals (I carry 5 different types of specialty pedals... but only carry 2 pairs of each type). Our customer can add these to their road bike or mountain bike rental and we want to make sure we don't overbook the pedals.

I realize I could just create a "pedal" product and manage those resources,  but this item really fits better as an extra (that's attached to the road bike it goes with) because that facilitates its sale.  It would really just be ideal to be able to manage the extras as resources.

Is there a way to change the pricing of extras on an internal order? We can change the price of the actual product, but not of any of the extras. If we want to give the customer a 10% discount, how do we go about doing it?

I've just started to appreciate what everyone means as I have to make four clicks and cut and paste 12 times for every change to an extra.  A 5 minute task becomes a 40 minute one. Argh!

As stated above a way to create the extras (make changes to them once) and attach them to products would be a great improvement. I currently have 3 extras and 5 products which all use the same extras. This means when I make a price change to a single extra I have to do the same thing 5 times to update everything.

I would like to have the function that we can put hyperlink on extra page. Currently cannot make it.

The order of extra would be disorder without any cause... I re-arrange it but fail. Please also fix it in the next planning. :)
