The scheduling tab is where you'll see the general rules for your product's availability, and will affect your calendar when creating sessions.
Dates available
There are 3 main methods:
- Fixed dates & times: Allows you to select dates and times when this product is available. Gives you the flexibility to change the price and availability for each date/time, and to blackout dates.
- Any date - Accept enquiries for any date: This means that a date is required, but the customer can choose any they wish.
- Date not required for booking: For example if you sell open tickets that do not require a specific date.
Fixed Dates and Times
Availability
There are 6 Availability options to select from, each option requires sessions to be scheduled in your Calendar.
Unlimited - Free Sale
- This will create sessions with unlimited spots available, no limits or resources required.
Limited - Fixed limit per session
- Set the default availability Limit.
- Tick the Show availability details to customers box if you want your customers to see your availability online.
- Tick the Enable waiting list for this product box if you want to allow your customers to join a waiting list, when this product is sold out.
Note: You can increase/decrease availability for any particular date/time within your Rezdy calendar at any time.
Limited - Fixed limit per price option
Adds a limit for each price option, that you can increase or decrease for any particular date/time easily on your Rezdy calendar.
- Enter the Limit for the Session maximum.
- Enter the Limit for each of your pricing options i.e. Adult, Child.
- Tick the Enable waiting list for this product box if you want to allow your customers to join a waiting list, when this product is sold out.

Limited - by resources per session
This option will require Resources to be created and assigned to sessions.

Limited - By resources per price option
Adds a limit for each price option, that is dependent on resource availability.
- Configure each price option to a specific resource.
- Tick the Enable waiting list for this product box if you want to allow your customers to join a waiting list, when this product is sold out.
Note: The Resources you configure here will be automatically added when you schedule your calendar sessions.
Limited - Share availability with another product
Link this product's availability to another one of your products.
- Tick the Show availability details to customers box if you want your customers to see your availability online.
- Tick the Enable waiting list for this product box if you want to allow your customers to join a waiting list, when this product is sold out.
Note: The parent product must use Fixed dates and Times and have sessions created in your calendar.
Any date - Accept enquiries for any date
Times available
There are 3 options to select from, Calendar sessions are not required for your customers to book online.
Fixed times
- Select an Available time.
- If needed, click the + symbol to add more time slots.
Online, your customers can book any date, but can only select the times you have set:
Any time - Allow customer to choose a time
- Online your customers can book any date and any time they choose.
Time not required for booking
- Online your customers can book any date, and not given a choice to select a time.
Date not required for booking
This method allows customers to book online without selecting a date or a time, and the Calendar is completely removed from the booking process:
Confirm bookings
When your customers book online, the status of their orders will either be CONFIRMED or PENDING SUPPLIER. The following 4 options will determine the status:
- Automatically - Orders are set to CONFIRMED.
- Manually - Orders are set to PENDING SUPPLIER. You will need to manually change orders to CONFIRMED.
- Start manual then automatic - Orders are set to PENDING SUPPLIER. When the number of participants is met, all orders will be automatically CONFIRMED.
- Enter the number of participants.
- Optional: Tick the Minimum participant overrides box, and enter the Quantity Min and Max settings. This will override the Quantity settings found on the Details tab.
In the above example, if the product is booked for 2 participants; the order will be PENDING SUPPLIER. If another order is made for 2 (or more) participants; the order will be CONFIRMED. All existing orders for that session (in a PENDING SUPPLIER status) will be automatically changed to CONFIRMED, and order notification emails will be automatically sent to the customers.
Note: This option is only available if you are using Fixed dates & times.
- Start automatic then manual - Orders will switch from CONFIRMED to PENDING SUPPLIER only when the quantity has been reached.
In the above example, if two orders are made both with 2 participants; then both orders will be CONFIRMED. All following orders for that session will be PENDING SUPPLIER, you will need to manually change orders to CONFIRMED.
Note: This option is only available if you are using Fixed dates & times.
Minimum Notice (optional)
This is the minimum amount of time that you require for an order to be placed, also called minimum book ahead time.
- Enter the amount of time.
- Select from Hours or Minutes.
- Select from:
- Before session start time - is useful for when you want to prevent orders x amount of hours/minutes before the start of an activity.
- Before session end time - is useful for when you want to take orders throughout the day, even after the start time of a session e.g. tickets to attractions, zoos, museums, or hop on hop off type Products.
Estimated duration
- Enter the estimated amount of time.
- Choose from Minutes, Hours, or Days.
Note: This will appear online to your customers as an approximate figure only.
Product Color
Selecting product colors is useful for when you have many products, allowing you to easily identify them within your Rezdy calendar. This color is internal only, and will not be displayed anywhere online to your customers.
Within your Rezdy calendar:
Tip: Darker colors are preferred, lighter colors will be difficult to see on the calendar.
