Flywire is a US based payments solution company dedicated to helping partners and consumers with transacting large amounts for tours and experiences. Flywire offers convenient payment options and securely processes transactions from over 240 countries and territories, in more than 150 currencies.
How to connect Flywire to Rezdy
- Click Settings
- Click Online Payments
- Tick Accept Credit Card payments
- Select Flywire
- Enter your Recipient Code
- Enter your Secret pass code.
Note: You should receive both the Recipient Code and Secret pass code during the Flywire signup/setup process. If you have not received these codes, please contact Flywire directly.
Ensure customer Address & City are enabled and mandatory
As part of the Flywire payment flow, the guest making the booking must provide their address and city information. By ensuring the address and city Booking Info fields are enabled and marked as mandatory, your guests will only need to enter this information once, making for a smoother checkout experience.
To ensure each product is configured properly, within a product's setup page:
- Click the Booking Info tab
- Within the Ask once per order section
- Enable all of the address related information, and tick Mandatory.
Make sure to save your changes.
Why are some bookings created with a 'Pending customer' status?
Flywire allows your guests to pay using Bank Transfer, when your guest chooses this as their payment method, their booking will drop into Rezdy as Pending customer. Once the guest has completed their bank transfer, the booking in Rezdy will automatically change to Confirmed and the payment amount, as well as the details, will be updated accordingly.
If no payment is received 7 (calendar) days after the booking is created, the booking will change to an Abandoned cart status.
