How To Set Up Confirmation Emails
FollowOverview
There are 2 confirmation email templates that you can customise:
- Online Booking Confirmation: This email is automatically sent to your customers once they have completed their online booking.
- Order Details: This email is manually sent to your customers, within the order page.
This article will show you how to customise the email subject, update the introduction and conclusion text. If you want to learn about all sections of the email templates including how to show/hide logo's, item, payment summaries, and colour themes; click here to learn more.
Improve email deliverability
If your customers inform you that your emails are falling in to spam/junk folders, or completely blocked (due to DMARC policies), you can set a Rezdy owned domain as your 'From' email address. This will ensure your emails are being delivered to your customers' inbox.
Customise the email subject
By using the shortcodes, you can personalise the subject line of your confirmation emails to better suit your business brand.
For example:
Hey {{CUSTOMER_FIRST_NAME}}, Thanks for booking with {{COMPANY_NAME}}! Your order {{ORDER_NUMBER}} is now {{ORDER_STATUS}}.
will look like:
Hey John, Thanks for booking with Sydney Walking Tours! Your order RZ00231 is now Confirmed.
