When To Use Rezdy's SEO Feature

Overview

Further improve and optimise search engine results for your products by adding SEO metadata titles and descriptions. Additionally, you can tell search engines to not index and rank your Rezdy category and product URLs, and instead, promote your own website URLs.

When to Use Rezdy's SEO Feature?

Rezdy's SEO feature will have a varying impact based on how you use Rezdy. The below table will show what type of impact this feature will have on your websites SEO.

Where can I use Rezdy's SEO feature?

1. Product settings:

• Click the SEO tab
• Enter an SEO Title
• Enter an SEO Description
• Tick the Search Engine Indexing to tell search engines not to index the Rezdy URL for this product e.g. https://myrezdyurl.rezdy.com/1234/my-product
• Rel Canonical URL: enter the URL that you would prefer to be ranked for this product e.g. https://mywebsite.com/my-product

Note: There is no set time for search engines, like Google, to initially rank or index/deindex a website. It is possible for a site to be crawled/indexed within 4 days to 4 weeks. In some cases, it may take longer.

2. Category settings:

• Enter an SEO Description
• Tick the Search Engine Indexing box to tell search engines not to index this category e.g. https://myrezdyurl.rezdy.com/catalog/1234/my-category
• Rel Canonical URL: enter the URL that you would prefer to be ranked for this category e.g. https://mywebsite/my-category
