Improving Email Deliverability
FollowStop your customer emails going to spam
All email clients are different, and they understandably keep the specifics of their spam filters secret so that they can't easily be bypassed. That said, there are a few best practices you should be aware of to keep your email deliverability to a maximum:
- Check your email sender address reputation using something like senderscore.org.
- Avoid using from or reply-to email addresses with words like 'noreply@', in the email address itself - use a real email address that can be replied to (you can create one with an auto-reply if it’s not monitored and it will still be seen as real).
- Use clean and natural sounding subject lines. Don't use overly extreme punctuation (!!!), don't use all-caps, check for spelling mistakes, avoid trigger words like 'FREE', 'PRIZE', 'CASH'.
- If possible, use the recipient's name in your subject line and email body - this is possible in Rezdy by clicking the ‘Personalise’ link and including {{CUSTOMER_NAME}} in the text.
- Use clean code in the email - avoid glitchy code or images, broken links, excessive hidden elements, and don't include any unverified links or attachments.
- If nothing else works, use our Rezdy-backed email domain. We maintain our own high domain authority, and 'masking' ours with your own can be a signal to email clients that, combined with the above issues, could seem suspicious.
