What Is the Difference Between Automated and Manual Payments
FollowOverview
When setting up payment details for agents you can choose whether the payout will be automated by Rezdy at the time of booking, or you can choose a manual payment option where you can invoice the agent for the net rate or commission at a convenient time.
Rezdy Automated Payment
Automated payments are guaranteed by Rezdy upon fulfilment of the order. Automated payments are restricted to Operators using AUD, USD, NZD, CAD, or EUR currencies only. This is the default payment method when using Marketplace Rates, but can also be used with Negotiated Rates.
Manual Payments
These are the various manual payment options.
Full payment to agent: Agent takes the full payment upfront. You invoice the agent for the net rate after the booking has occurred.
Down payment to agent: Agent takes only a deposit at time of booking. The customer pays you the remainder on the day of the tour, or when you request the payment.
Full payment to supplier: You take the full payment at time of booking. You pay the agent the commission after the booking has occurred, or when he invoices you.
No payment tracked: No payment is tracked on Rezdy. Orders will be unpaid.
How to tell which payment type a supplier is offering on the Marketplace
- Click the supplier's Name.
- Choose Rates.
- You can see a complete list of that supplier's products available on the Marketplace along with their payment type and terms.
- You can also click Admin from within the Marketplace itself if you just want to see the commission and whether the product is Manual or Automated payments.
