Planned system maintenance - 21st August 2023
FollowPlanned system maintenance 5:00 AM - 8:00 AM EDT Monday 21st August
We will be conducting a major systems upgrade on Monday, August 21st, between 5:00 AM and 10:00 AM EDT.
- AEST: Monday, August 21st, 7:00 PM.
- UTC: Monday, August 21st, 9:00 AM.
- PDT: Monday, August 21st, 2:00 AM.
- CET: Monday, August 21st, 11:00 AM.
Why are we doing this?
All users of Amazon Web Services are obligated to undergo this upgrade to guarantee the ongoing security and stability of their databases, both now and in the future.
What is the temporary impact?
Once the system upgrade has started, Rezdy will be temporarily unavailable for a maximum period of 3 hours. This will impact all aspects of Rezdy including your ability to:
- Log in to Rezdy.
- Create manual bookings.
- Take bookings through booking forms, widgets and API.
- Receive reseller bookings.
During this time, guests who try to book your tours and activities will encounter an error message, notifying them about the system upgrade and instructing them to return once the upgrade has been completed.
Important: The accuracy of your reports may also be temporarily affected for the next 48 hours as the data gradually synchronizes with our new data warehouse.
This means that:
- Data prior to 7pm Monday AEST will be available once the upgrade has been completed.
- Data after 7pm Monday AEST will be available after 48 hours.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding during this necessary upgrade. And make sure to check and subscribe to our status page here for the latest updates!
API related impacts
If you have any questions, you can reach out to us via email: api-support@rezdy.com.
- Receive reseller bookings.
- Make any API calls to Rezdy API services.
- Receive any API calls from Rezdy API services.
During this time, any attempt to access the Rezdy app will encounter a page instructing them to return once the upgrade has been completed.
Any calls made to our API services will encounter an HTTP 500, 502, 503 and/or 504 error and recipients of API calls from Rezdy will not receive any during the upgrade period.
There will be no automated retries conducted for any failed calls/transactions during the upgrade period. Rezdy will notify API integrated partners once the upgrade is complete and partners will be encouraged to retry any failed requests and recommence their API operations with Rezdy after this time.
For operators using Rezdy for distribution, there is nothing you need to do. Rezdy will make a series of calls to your ResTech/Booking system to retrieve the next 3 months of price & availability once upgrade is complete.
