How To Create a New Session

Creating sessions allows for products to be visible online and booked directly by your customers or within the Marketplace. Sessions also allows you to manage start/end times for your products, pricing, resources, and availability.

How to create a new session
- Click Schedule.
- Select Calendar.
- Click the New Session button.
Within the Create a new session page:
- Select a Product from the drop down list
- Enter the Next available session start (and end) date and time. For example, if your product has a 2 hour duration, the From date/time will be 28th July 9am and the To should be 28th July 11am.
Tip: At least one of your products must have Fixed dates & times set as a scheduling option in order to create sessions in the calendar. If one (or more) of your products does not appear in the product selection drop-down; then the product has Any date - Accept enquiries for any date or Date not required for booking selected as the Dates available: option. Optional: Ticking the All Day box will create all day sessions i.e. 12:00 am to 11:59 pm
Repeating a product's calendar session
If a product's session has the same start and end date/time regularly, you can choose to repeat the session.
Repeating a product's session at intervals by the minute
- Select Repeat minute-by-minute.
- Select the recurrence in minutes.
- Select the Until date.
- Select the days of the week as well as the From and To times.
The below example will repeat a product's session every 30 minutes between 9am to 5pm, Monday and Tuesday, until the 31st January 2020.
Repeating a product's session at intervals by the hour
- Select Repeat hourly.
- Select the recurrence in hours.
- Select the Until date.
- Select the days of the week as well as the From and To times.
The below example will repeat a product's session every hour between 9am to 5pm, Monday and Tuesday, until the 31st January 2020.
Repeating a product's session every day
- Select Repeat daily.
- Select the recurrence days.
- Select the Until date.
The below example will repeat a product's session every day of the week until 31st December 2020.
Repeating a product's session on specific days of the week
- Select Repeat weekly.
- Select the recurrence weeks.
- Select the Until date.
- Choose the days of the week to repeat sessions.
The below example will repeat a product's session every week on Friday, Saturday and Sunday until the 31st December 2020.
Repeating a product's session once a month
- Select Repeat monthly.
- Select the recurrence months.
- Select the Until date.
The below example will repeat a product's session on the 28th day of every month until 31st December 2020.
Repeating a product's session once a year
- Select Repeat yearly.
- Select the recurrence years.
- Select the Until date.
The below example will repeat a product's session on the 26th January every year until 2025.
Setting a product's session price
When creating sessions, you have the ability to set different pricing. This allows for seasonal prices, click here to learn more about seasonal price configuration.
- Optional: Adjust the default Prices.
Optional: Setting the minimum participant overrides
Note: This option only applies if you are using the Confirm bookings setting of Start manual then automatic. Click here to learn more.
- Enter the new Quantity settings when the minimum participant numbers are met.
Setting a product's session availability
When creating sessions, you have the ability to set different availability. This allows for greater control of your inventory on certain dates.

- Click the Resource from the list of resources
Availability
- Set the Availability
- Internal Notes: For internal use only.
- Click the Create session button.
